Genre: Documentary
Client: History Channel Asia
Lion Heart features Simba Zhuo, the first international wildlife conservationist from China. Filmed in China and Kenya it tells the story of one man’s efforts to help save the endangered lion and mitigate the conflicts between man and wildlife.
Beyond raising awareness for the Asian audience, this 90-minute documentary special showcases the ongoing challenges to the Maasai people’s way of life, and threats to wildlife in the Ol Kinyei Conservancy.
The show features a diverse network of key wildlife players, who were critical in enabling us to bring the story to life. We are grateful for the participation of the Kenya Wildlife Service; the Mara Lion Project; WildAid; the World Wildlife Fund, and the East African Wildlife Society. With their help, we were able to shed a more critical light on various issues such as the illegal wildlife trade, habitat loss, and other issues.
