Many claim the Kampong spirit is lost because Singaporeans are now caged in high-rise birdcages. To promote neighbourliness and ignite the spirit of community once again, Singapore’s public housing authority, the Housing & Development Board (HDB), introduced the Let’s Shine Campaign.
