Let Me Tell You A Story is a 2-part people’s history of Singapore.  Relive the past through our oldest living witnesses, vividly brought to life through their memories, animation, reenactments and archives.

Instead of speaking to historians and experts, we hear from a generation who witnessed life in the country nearly a century ago – before it became the modern metropolis of today.

What was it like living in a bustling colonial land of immigrants, filled with colourful communities and languages? Or growing up in kampong villages and crowded urban squatter areas, where cattle still roamed the streets? 

From the stirring to the humorous, their recollections chronicle a coming-of-age of a generation born before WWII, and reveal intriguing insights from a vastly different era of Singapore and Asia.
