The island paradise of Bali hides a dark secret. Mentally ill patients are chained up and held in wooden stocks by their families in a common practice known as pasung. Helpless and in devastating poverty, the families are forced to this practice as a last resort.

As the number of mentally ill in Bali rises, the impending doom of being locked in chains looms over those already trapped in their minds.
