Hailing from Swinburne University of Technology, Alviss is a seasoned video editor with skills in graphic design, motion graphics, and videography.

Alviss has edited a variety of factual genres – from documentaries, reality and lifestyle – to scripted content. His highlights include LET ME TELL YOU A STORY – Channel News Asia’s highest-rated documentary series that chronicles the personal coming-of-age of a generation born before WW2. The show features stories told by Singapore’s oldest living historians, vividly brought to life through memories, animation, re-enactments and archives.

He recently edited COPY + PASTE + STEAL, a groundbreaking documentary about AI art, for CNA’s Undercover Asia strand.

His drama credits include VEIL (MediaCorp 5), a thriller which follows a young woman who inherits her father’s estate after his mysterious death; and PAPA PILOT (MediaCorp Suria), a Father’s Day telemovie about a pilot who loses his job in the pandemic and struggles to support his family.  Other entertainment shows include KEK CHAMPION, the award-winning baking competition show, and CUTI SINI (MediaCorp Suria), a lifestyle series in which famous families pack their bags for a fun staycation; and HERE’S TO HEALTH (MediaCorp Ch 8).

His ability to work in different languages – English, Mandarin and Malay – and to span a range of genres have equipped him with various storytelling skills.
