A multidisciplinary design graduate from Swinburne University of Technology, Alviss is a seasoned video editor with a track record of success in the field. He is also proficient in graphic design, motion graphics, and videography.
Alviss has edited a variety of genres at The Moving Visuals Co. – from history
documentaries to drama, lifestyle and reality. Among his highlights are the highest rated documentary of 2023, Let Me Tell You a Story (Channel News Asia), a two-part series that chronicles the personal coming-of-age of an entire generation born before WW2. The show reveals intriguing insights from a vastly different era of Singapore through stories told by our oldest living historians, vividly brought to life through memories, animation, re-enactments and archives.
He has also edited dramas such as Veil (MediaCorp 5), which follows a young woman who inherits her father’s estate following his mysterious death; and Papa Pilot (MediaCorp Suria), a Father’s Day telemovie about a pilot who loses his job in the pandemic and struggles to support his family; info-entertainment shows like Cuti Sini Seasons 2 & 3 (MediaCorp Suria), a lifestyle series in which famous families pack their bags for a fun staycation in Singapore, uncovers hidden gems, and strengthens their bonds as a family; Here’s to Health Season 13 (MediaCorp Ch 8); and entertainment shows like the highly rated and award winning baking competition show, Kek Champion (MediaCorp Suria).
His ability to span a range of genres have equipped him with various techniques to tell a story.
